Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, booking a consultation, or enrolling in any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Services Offered

Engaged Minds Academy provides 100% virtual academic support, including:

All sessions are conducted online. We do not offer in-person tutoring services.

Booking & Payment

All tutoring sessions must be paid in advance through our secure GoHighLevel invoicing system, which is powered by Stripe and accepts all major forms of payment.

We offer the following pricing options:

All tutoring hours are per household and may be used by multiple students in the same family. Monthly plan hours roll over as long as the subscription remains active. Unused hours are forfeited if a subscription is canceled or paused.

Typical sessions are 1 hour long. 30-minute sessions are available for elementary students. Late payments incur an automatic late fee after 14 days. Continued nonpayment may result in paused or terminated services.

Cancellations, Missed Sessions & Rescheduling

Each student is allowed one free last-minute cancellation for their first missed session.

A ‘missed session’ is defined as:

Missed sessions are non-refundable. If more than three sessions are missed in one calendar month, the student may be removed from the schedule. A parent meeting will be required to reinstate services and set new expectations.

All prepaid sessions must be used by the end of the school year unless the student is enrolled in summer services.

Educational Outcomes Disclaimer

Engaged Minds Academy does not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes. Results vary based on the student’s engagement and effort. All tutoring and resources are provided for educational support only.

Intellectual Property & Digital Products

All content provided by Engaged Minds Academy—including lessons, downloads, worksheets, digital products, and blog content—is the property of Engaged Minds Academy. These materials may not be copied, distributed, or resold.

Digital resources provided in SAT/ACT bundles are for enrolled students only. Additional downloads will be sold through our official Etsy store, either a la carte or in bundles. Purchase of digital content implies agreement not to redistribute or sell the materials.

User Conduct

Students and families must engage respectfully with tutors and staff. Disrespectful language, harassment, or repeated policy violations (such as no-shows or nonpayment) may result in temporary or permanent removal from services.

Students may request to have sessions recorded, which will be accommodated when possible.

Privacy

We collect form data via GoHighLevel for the purposes of scheduling and service delivery. By using our site, you agree to the terms in our full Privacy Policy, available at: https://engagedmindsacademy.com/privacy-policy.

Limitation of Liability & Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics and Facebook integrations to improve our site experience. These tools collect anonymous user behavior data. We do not currently use retargeting ads but reserve the right to do so in the future.

Engaged Minds Academy is not liable for any damages related to your use of our services or site. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for tutoring services.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Harris County, TX.
